21st Annual Woodrow Wilson School Students and Alumni of Color Symposium
April 8-9, 2017
This year’s symposium will focus on how we can use the past to inform our present resistance and solidarity as we imagine an inclusive future. Through our panels and conversations, we will ask:
1. How have historic resistance and solidarity movements responded in similar times of political instability, bigotry, and division?
2. How can we use these historical lessons to create impactful resistance and solidarity movements today?
3. How do we imagine our inclusive future to look like?
These discussions will tap into the world of policy, activism, history, economics, technology, art, and more to ultimately connect the past, present, and future of solidarity and resistance.
